Explicații Wikipedia: Following the discovery of Sam Scales' body in his trunk, Mickey Haller is arrested and held without bail at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility. Now identified as inmate 7211956, Mickey faces first-degree murder charges. Despite the risks, he insists on representing himself and refuses to waive his right to a speedy trial, giving the defense only 60 days to prepare. While incarcerated, Mickey pays an influential inmate named Bamba for protection against various enemies he helped put away. On the outside, Cisco investigates the theft of Mickey’s license plate and tracks the movements of the Lincoln on the night of the murder. Lorna, now a licensed attorney, struggles to keep the firm's remaining clients from fleeing due to the scandal. A visit from Mickey’s daughter, Hayley, ends in heartbreak when she is overwhelmed by seeing him in prison, leading Mickey to ask his family to stop visiting. During discovery, the team uncovers a Brady violation involving withheld dashcam footage. While the violation offers a chance at a technical dismissal, Mickey makes the strategic decision to proceed to trial. He realizes a dismissal wouldn't clear his name and intends to use the courtroom to expose the conspiracy and identify the person who framed him.
