Explicații Wikipedia: Juarez visits her sister's grave on the anniversary of her abduction. Lopez finds that the abduction fits a pattern of cases dating back years before, all of the abductions happening on the same day of the year and all the victims being from drug-addicted parents. Then Nolan and Juarez get a call about a missing child, starting the cycle over again. An older officer shows up at the scene who Juarez recognizes from her case, and he makes Nolan suspicious by asking to enter the scene. Grey asks an old investigator about anything that didn't make it into Juarez's sister's kidnapping, which leads the team to a serial sex offender suspected, but unable to be tied to the case. Harper asks the police officer about details in the Juarez case, and he's caught in a lie raising suspicions higher. They release him with a tail, but he uses his police skills to break it. Chen finds a recent case the officer worked on where he cleared a house of squatters just a couple miles from the abduction. The team surrounds the house and talks the officer into letting the victim go, but when the team moves in, the officer raises his gun against Tim, who shoots him. Chen offers to help Tim get through the experience, and he offers to help her study for her detective exam.
