Explicații Wikipedia: Bosch and Maddie both grieve after Eleanor's death. Bosch flashes back to the day of his mother's murder, and begins privately investigating Eleanor's shooting, finding a security camera across the street that caught it on video. Edgar assists, copying information from Eleanor's phone before turning it in to Agent Griffin. His ex-wife Latonya, usually amicable about letting him stay over, bristles when she sees him investigating the murder in her home. Billets, temporarily acting as captain, is forced to take a hard stance while delegating her fellow lieutenants, who fail to take her seriously otherwise. Irving researches Desiree Zealy's background and organization strategies. The manhunt for Sheehan continues as Robertson takes the lead on the Elias investigation, confronting Terry Drake about their tumultuous history in RHD. Maddie returns to school prematurely and leaves with a boy. Bosch, anxious at Maddie's absence without notifying him, tracks her down to bring her home. Maddie asks to view her mother's body at the coroner's office, and Bosch reluctantly complies. Afterward, Maddie ruminates that her last conversation with her mother was an argument, and Bosch reassures her, recounting his last conversation with Eleanor at her request.
