Explicații Wikipedia: Lopez finds her mother at the door, who explains that she was attacked by someone claiming that one of her sons should be cautious. Harper takes the case, and Lopez calls in all of her brothers all but one who is studying in New York. Neither of them admits to having any knowledge to their mother's assailant, but Lopez later learns that one of them, Damian, cheated with the wife of a former gang member working at his church. She and Harper also discovers that another one of her brothers, Benny, was in debt after putting money into the stock exchange and a loan shark came after him. They head out and arrest the lone shark for attacking Lopez's mother. Nolan and Juarez respond to a car accident, but the driver escapes from the ambulance upon arriving at the hospital. The driver, revealed to be Rob Lukasey, burgled a house and was shot by a man in self defense. The hospital is put on lockdown as Lukasey tries to find a way to heal himself. He disguises himself as a medical officer and then a doctor before taking Juarez hostage. She however manages to subdue him with morphine under the guise of treating his injuries. While helping at the hospital, Bradford is hospitalised with after effects of a previous bullet wound. He has a surgery and successfully recovers, but his girlfriend Ashley breaks up with him. Grey is also hospitalised with food poisoning after eating at a restaurant with colleagues, leaving Smitty and Lucy in charge of the station with Lucy managing to successfully keep everything running despite the station being down on half of its personnel.
