Explicații IMDb: Financial concerns from the board cause tension between Chief Goodwin and her staff. Goodwin is faced with some difficult choices. Meanwhile, Dr. Charles and Dr. Reese deal with a patient who believes there is something living inside of his stomach. Dr. Choi and Halstead work together on a strange case of their own.

Explicații TMDb: When Goodwin receives financial complaints from the hospital board, she is forced to implement new guidelines that cause headaches for the doctors. Dr. Rhodes and Ava continue to compete in the operating room, while Dr. Charles and Dr. Reese are surprised when they treat a man who has a peculiar theory about his sickness. Dr. Manning and Dr. Cho can't figure out what is wrong with a young girl, leading them to look to a questionable source for answers.

Explicații Wikipedia: Dr. Choi and Dr. Manning are forced into a patient's family drama when they reveal that she is brain dead from a fall and the parents blame their pot smoking son as a bad influence. Dr. Rhodes continues to struggle both with his personal life and in the operating room, causing Dr. Latham to try and reconcile the tension between him and Dr. Bekkar. Also, Dr. Charles and Dr. Reese deal with a patient whose apparent psychotic behavior manifests through claims that there is something inside him.
