But a bid by Andy and Dov to impress Sergeant Boyko with their initiative backfires when the two rookies put a vulnerable informant's life in jeopardy, and it's left to Andy to infiltrate a risky gun deal in progress to save her.
Explicații TMDb: Andy’s undercover skills are tested – and found to be lacking – during a citywide campaign to clean up the streets, when she’s tapped to pose as a prostitute in order to arrest unsuspecting johns. But the real test comes when Andy and Dov inadvertently put a vulnerable street informant’s life in danger, and it’s up to the two rookies to infiltrate a dangerous gun deal in order to save the trapped woman from a group of ruthless criminals.
Explicații Wikipedia: McNally, Peck and Diaz are tasked as prostitutes in a sting operation. Nash however has been sent to work with Callaghan on a murdered John Doe. McNally is unable to perform and she is pulled; as is Epstein for blocking channels during a time of emergency. As a result, both decide to take down a weapons trafficking syndicate in an attempt to redeem themselves. Although their attempt is successful, they jeopardized a civilian in the process. Meanwhile Diaz manages to figure out the identity of the John Doe and realises that it is the same person whose father is asking round looking for his son who disappeared after they had a fight after he told him he was gay.
