Sally contacts Chief Justice Consuelo Arbenz to help stop Roper and Cabrera's coup. Pine plays Teddy recordings of Roper privately disowning him, convincing Teddy to help him and reveal the coup's plans. Roper discovers Martin's surveillance, although Martin narrowly escapes. Mayra has Basil murdered after he refuses to divulge Pine's plan. Roper kills his dogs in anger at his operation being exposed. A desperate Roxana hands herself over to Roper, who demands that she bring Pine to him.
